One of his daughters had squirmed out of her finishing school in Switzerland. She was to be married to his good friend's son with-in the month. Yes it was an arranged marriage, but she had been agreeable to it since she was small. The arrangement was made at her second birthday.

This was the way things were done. She had grown up with the boy each summer for 5 weeks of every year since she was two. This was his way of easing her into a life that was customised around old traditions. He had no wish to see any of his children unhappy. Yet tradition made demands upon him. The marriage would be a valuable liason. There was no question about the matter.

The Sultan had always been given his will. That was the will of the Sultan.

He was not a man without sympathies. He was seldom too arrogant or over the top. He was conscouice of the out side world and very much wanted the traditional ways to be up dated. But he knew change must be slow. One can not go from ancient ways of male dominance to modern female independance with out alot of pain. He had tried to intergrate the standards, and had succeeded mostly.

It disturbed him that his Anisa was missing. He didn't think she had run away, he was very concearned for her safety, not to mention her honour. He had E-mailed his good friend at Lost and Found, to find her. Riccardo was often finding him things, that's what he did. He only hoped Ric would accept the job, and find his missing daughter. It was not an ordinary request.

He had noticed Lost and Found had a new Design and wanted one too. Maybe if he got himself a homepage for Anisa, she would find it and get in contact. Anisa was a very intelligent girl. She loved this new age. The freedom it offered Muslim girls was scarey, but this was the way the world was turning. He was not so much influenced by his Fathers beliefs. How ever so much was ingrained into his way of life. The Sultan was not one to sacrifice his position in the community by denying Mohummad.

Apparently Riccardo had contracted the task of improving his home page to a advertising firm called Web Design. He would do so too. This was an urgent matter. The more he could do to help the better he would feel, he hoped.
