Born in New Zealand.

His father had come to New Zealand 37 years ago on board a boat. His name was Aryton. Aryton had met Riccardo's mother almost straight away. She was the widow he took lodgings with on his first day in the country.

Her name was Tracey. She already had a child. It was only 4 months old. Her husband had died in a freak storm out to sea when she was just one month pregnant. She hadn't even known of her condition.

Aryton had taken 3 years to seduce her. The whole time living under her roof. Not because he didn't have enough money to buy his own house, but because he had fallen in love with her, and needed to be near her. Back then there were customs about mourning.

The child was a flower girl at the wedding. Her name was
Sylvia. Ric was born two years later. He was a happy go lucky kid, he had probably the average amounts of teenage problems. He had received his fair share of injuries and seldom backed down in a fight, but was always fair.

As a kid he had been a little on the scrawny side, his Dad's answer to that was to give him boxing lessons. These he had excelled at. In later years he studied the martial arts and knew he was better than the average Joe at defending himself.

As a young adult his first job was after school in a garage. He learnt the basic mechanicals of life under the bonnet, and the workings of the crudimentary back seat at the age of 13.

His first car was a
Zypher Zodiac. His first girlfriend was the girl next door. They learnt together about the various muscles of love. They got caught out, after a year and they moved away.

Ricc then was introduced to go karts and progressed his way up to Formula Ford. Mainly he got in the top five positions. He left school at the ripe age of 18. He had received all the usual certificates and a few more beside. He had dabled in the school journal as well as having been president of the Senior Boys Club.

He had been offered a job as a coach builder from his Dad's friend. The apprenticeship lasted for three years. In which time he built a customised 32 Ford T Bucket. He still raced in Formula Ford and occasionally was given drives in long distance races.

Riccardo was introduced to the Internet by his big sister.
Sylvia was vavoucious. And had many different ideas about life. She was always so cruisey. Money didn't seem to prevail too much in her priorities. But Ric had seen a way to make some serious dollars.

From the time he worked in the garage he had learnt how to find obsolete car parts. He knew that if you worked hard enough there was always a way. Sometimes the missing part was really unobtainable, then he simply matched it up to what would be close enough. Modifying things to make them work was always challenging. But that;s what Kiwi's do. Make things work.

So he started his Internet home page as a hobby. It was exciting, the whole idea caught on so fast that within 6 months he had 8 staff and was an international company.

He had been on the World Wide Web for just over 4 years now. He was always so busy that his private life was almost non existant. Sure he had a few lovers around the place. But there was never any time to get serious. Or may be he hadn't yet met the right woman. Sure by any one's standards he was succesful. His bank manager loved him. He owned alot of land lying around the place up in the Bay of Islands. But there was never enough time in the day, the internet commanded his attention. At $300 per hour, he loved paying his dues to it.

The biggest job he had ever had was tidied up at $4000.US for half a days work. He had stumbled onto the requested item within half an hour of searching. He normally used a Macintosh. How ever alot of his peers used P.C's and it always made a lively conversation as to which was best.

It had taken him all of this time to even organize a professional Web site. He got a guy called
Dave Sellart on the case. It was only just on now. He had already received over xxx jobs from just getting better organised. He really should have done it so much sooner, but complacency had kicked in. Dave was becoming a rather intrigal part of his business. They often went for a game of golf, and depending on who told the story they both won often.

Ric was sharpening up his latest idea with
Dave, it was a good one at that. The idea was to make a Lost and Found magazine on the net. With advertising banners and other such information, to make it interesting. It would be a win win scenario. Things on the web were moving so fast though. And Ric was always busy. But he must get back to Dave.
